But Why?
“Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social service”
— The United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948
The Issue:
Currently, over 2 billion people worldwide, or one fourth of the global population, cannot access life-saving medical supplies. This deficiency is concentrated in low-income communities and areas of conflict or disaster. Lack of access to these essential supplies is an issue that many are aware of, yet not substantially addressed.
Our Mission:
PharmaCycle aims to provide areas in need with medical supplies. We do this by sustaining the system we created between generous hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics in the United States, with medical establishments in disaster-stricken and underserved areas. We are dedicated to not only donating essential supplies but also encouraging students to take action on pressing issues.
Let’s combine our efforts and do the best we can for others.
